This isn’t really a project! Rather here we are just satisfying our curiosity and our excitement about science by trying to look a bit beyond.

We were asking the question:

  1. Do robots have to be physically embodied and how does this concept (embodiment) reflect itself in the nomenclature of a control engineer?

  2. How is information represented and measured in closed loop perception-action cycles

  3. What makes an agent autonomous and how is this different from a “slave”?

We were intrigued by the aesthetically very appealing pictures (xxxshow somexxx) obtained from our computer vision algorithms and made a few exhibitions (xxx ask Norbert for references about thisxxx) and published a paper in “Leonardo” (MIT Press).
