Press release (in German)

The "Bernstein Center for Computational Neuroscience" in Göttingen will celebrate its opening on March 28, 2007. The center has been established by a grant of the German Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). With new methods and an interdisciplinary orientation it attempts to clarify the nature of neuronal information processing in the brain. It includes research groups of the University of Göttingen, two Max Planck Institutes, the German Primate Center, and the Otto Bock HealthCare GmbH. The Center forms a cornerstone for the neuroscience profile of the scientific landscape in Göttingen.
